Five tips for younger skin
Area
Daily Use1. Making sure you get enough sleep
Lack of sleep can lead to increased stress hormones in the body which detracts from your skin’s natural beauty. Having increased inflammatory cells in the body can lead to the breakdown of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which help to give our skin its glow, bounce, and translucency. Therefore, it’s important that we get enough hours of sleep each night so that our skin can repair itself. Sleeping for 7-8 hours will help prevent a dull complexion and will also help to prevent you looking older than what you are
2. Exercising regularly
Exercise is KEY! There are so many benefits of exercising and one of them is youthful skin. This is due to the stress hormone “cortisol” decreasing in our bodies and the increase in endorphins which helps to boost our mood. Exercising also gives our skin an immediate glow and helps to shed all those dead skin cells that have been building up over time.
3. Skipping Meals
We all can be extremely busy at times and sometimes we can forget to eat. When we skip meals, our brains are running on no fuel however, constantly skipping meals can make our skin age so much faster as well as dry out quicker. Therefore, it’s always important to keep a little stash of snacks that are easily accessible. Peanuts, almonds, oats or even picking up an orange and some grapes are all great in helping to keep your skin looking and feeling great.
4. Not drinking enough water
Drinking water should be one of the most important things we do each and every day. Eight glasses of water is the right amount that our bodies need internally to help provide hydration to the skin. When we don’t drink enough water our skin can show patches of dry and flaky skin. Even adding a few slices of lemon to water for a yummier taste can be quite beneficial. Lemons contain antioxidant properties which help to combat free radical damage, one of the main symptoms of ageing.
5. Using an Anti-Ageing product
