Dr Kate DeAmbrosis

Dr. DeAmbrosis completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2003 before embarking on Surgical training through Princess Alexandra Hospital. She completed her Basic training in 2006 and her first year of Advanced Surgical Training in General Surgery 2007 (Mater Children’s Hospital & Ipswich General Hospital) before being accepted for Dermatology training.

Dr. DeAmbrosis Background

Dr. DeAmbrosis was awarded the Ken Paver Medal for the Clinical Sciences Examination by the Australasian College of Dermatologists and following training at The Qld Institute of Dermatology, Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney, Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital was awarded full Fellowship of the College as a Specialist Dermatologist in 2014.

Her research interests and publications are in the fields of Perineural invasion in non-melanoma skin cancer, acne, rosacea and female genital skin disease. She regularly presents educational sessions for students at high schools to improve the skincare knowledge of adolescents (Clarify by Dr Kate).
