Stop warts in their tracks
For decades we’ve made it our top priority to help you with different skin conditions, warts and all – literally! And our latest product does not disappoint. Say hello to the next generation of at-home wart treatments.
Studies have shown that formic acid based wart remover treatments compared to commonly used salicylic and lactic acid-based treatments achieved a higher cure rate[1] for effectively treating those pesky warts.
Get the job done right with Australia’s first formic acid-based wart remover pen. Dermal Therapy’s Warteze Wart Remover Pen is a specifically designed therapeutic treatment to eliminate common and plantar warts by physically destructing the infected cells or wart area effectively. It’s a simple-to-use, self-administered topical medical device that uses formic acid to cause dehydration of cells to eliminate warts.
But wait, what exactly is a wart?
Warts are small, rough, usually painless growths that resemble a solid blister. They typically appear on the hands and feet but can also appear on the face, back and other body parts like the knee and elbow. Caused by a virus called human papillomavirus (HPV), they are generally harmless but can be contagious.
There are two different types of warts that the Warteze Wart Remover Pen can help eliminate:
Plantar warts:
“Plantar” is the medical term for the sole of the foot, where these flat-surfaced warts grow. They often appear as a small, rough, or grainy lesion, causing discomfort or pain, and are commonly found on weight-bearing areas of the foot.
Common Warts (Verruca vulgaris):
These can appear anywhere on the body, but most often infect the hands and toes. Often found in groups, these hard, round or oval, raised warts have a rough, cauliflower-like surface.

Thoroughly wash the affected area and soak the wart in warm water for five minutes or until the skin is softer. Remove the soft portion of the wart by gently rubbing, for example with pumice stone or tweezers. Before using the wart remover pen, apply petroleum jelly on the surrounding skin to prevent irritation on normal skin ensuring no contact with the wart. Remove the cap from the pen and then twist the dial at the top of the pen slowly until the first drop appears on the tip of the applicator. Apply the pen directly to cover the wart, use only a small amount and let it dry. Be careful not to touch the surrounding healthy skin. Do not cover the warts with any occlusive patches. Replace cap firmly after each use. Wash hands thoroughly to avoid contact with healthy skin. Children must always be assisted by adults to apply the treatment. If you have several warts, start treating only a few to see how the skin reacts and if there are not any side effects. After a few weeks, the warts will become slightly white in colour, followed by peeling of the top layers.
Duration of use:
Apply on alternate days three times a week for up to 4 weeks. Do not apply more than 12 times on a specific wart.
WARNINGS:
For external use only. Read the instructions for use and warnings carefully before using the product. Use only as directed.
