Sweat Control Roll On

Methodology:

In-vivo safety & efficacy of Sweat Control range was done in 10 healthy male subjects between 18 to 35 years, with habit of using deodorant roll-on and produce at least 150 mg of sweat. . In this study the efficacy was determined using sweat patch test. Participants were subject to a sweat stimulation phase for 30 minutes at hot room condition. At the end of the stimulation phase, pre-weighed absorbent pads were placed under both underarms and were removed after 20 minutes and weighed. This was performed at Day 0, Day 2 (48hrs after application) and products we reapplied on cleaned underarms on day 2 and sweat stimulation conducted at day 4 (48 hrs after application).

The odour control efficacy was conducted by the axillary odour test. A cotton bud was kept in contact with the randomised axillae for 30 seconds then assessed by experts on odour grading scales.

Results

Both products showed no significant difference in axillary odour at Day-2 (48 hours after 1st application) & Day-4 after 2nd application).

A significant difference by -46.03% on underarm treated with Sweat Control Spray at Day-4 48 hours after 2nd application).

A significant difference by -51.28% on randomized under arm treated with Sweat Control Roll On at Day-4 (48 hours after 2nd application)

Conclusion:

We concluded that both Sweat Control Roll On and Spray were effective in suppressing sweat and odour and were also well-tolerated.
