Managing facial redness at home
Ever look in the mirror and wonder “why is my face always red?” When rosy cheeks become a full-blown flare-up, you may find yourself suffering from the symptoms of facial redness associated with Rosacea. Facial redness, flushing and skin irritation can be caused by a number of external and internal factors. Excessive sun exposure, high winds and the use of harsh skincare products can trigger facial redness, leaving the skin feeling hot and tender. The condition can also be hereditary or exacerbated by other irritants.
To manage symptoms of facial redness, a gentle cream such as Dermal Therapy Redness Relief Cream can soothe and nourish skin to reduce the appearance of redness. Gentle enough for sensitive skin, our rich formula moisturises, soothes and supports overall skin health.
Ingredients your skin will love
If you want to reduce redness on the face, choosing gentle ingredients is key. Dermal Therapy Redness Relief Cream is fortified with antioxidant Vitamin E and features Niacinamide B3 and Panthenol B5 to assist with skin repair, while soothing ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Boswellia and Gotu Kola help to calm irritation.
This soothing rosacea cream is best incorporated into a gentle skincare regimen that aids the skin’s natural healing processes. Complete your routine with our award-winning Sensitive Skin range.

Methodology
In a clinical-dermatological controlled study, 10 healthy male and female participants aged 18 and over applied Redness Relief Cream onto the skin to determine its efficacy in reducing intensity of redness induced by a histamine solution. This known irritant was applied on the skin at the start of the study (T0min), after which Redness Relief Cream was applied. The skin’s reaction was then assessed over 60 minutes: after 5min, 15 min, 30 min, 45 min and 60 min time points.
The reduction of redness was measured in dimension in millimetre.
Result
A gradual reduction in redness was observed over the 60 minutes period. Results hence showed that Dermal Therapy Redness Relief Cream was effective in providing relief to the skin.
The above results are from a study conducted by Dermatest®GmbH in Germany, an independent testing facility as commissioned by LaCorium Health Australia Pty Ltd.
